Reiki

Reiki & Pregnancy

Reiki can only do good. Many pregnant women have received treatments with great benefit to them and their unborn child. Reiki provides emotional as well as physical support to the pregnant woman. Reiki creates a balanced, loving and harmonious relationship between the mother and the child. Reiki practiced in the early days of the pregnancy can help reduce exhaustion and nausea in the pregnant woman. It has also been used during childbirth.

Reiki & Children

The calming practice of Reiki can benefit children by promoting relaxation and confidence. Learning about the benefits of Reiki at a young age promotes a healthy way of living throughout their lives, helping children make better choices and create balance.

The Reiki session is offered both in person and virtually. I allow the child to guide the session based on their age and comfort level. The session can be both hands on, or hands off, depending on the child's comfort and needs. This can be done through colouring together, playing with crystals, exploring essential oil scents together and or through the traditional method of laying down. One parent is welcome in the healing room to ensure optimal comfort for both child and parent. As the child becomes more comfortable and the energy begins to flow more, changes can be made to how the child receives Reiki.
